Access to Justice and Dispute Resolution Systems

Looks beyond “courts and lawyers” to examine broadly the social consequences of diminishing access to justice and dispute resolution and implications for public policy and administration. Assists students to understand and respond to access issues by applying a problem solving, design thinking lens to them. Topics include: unmet justice needs; strategies to enhance access; and how access issues are forcing society and governments to rethink the delivery of justice and dispute resolution.
