The Red River Resistance and the Northwest Rebellion
Examines political, military, diplomatic and judicial histories as well as environmental, social and economic histories written by settler, Indigenous and Métis historians. Surveys the canon, popular and more recent accounts, oral histories and primary written sources, as well as film. Uses a variety of perspectives to understand these events and their legacy.
